Nautilus Data Technologies, the leading provider of innovative water-cooling for data centers, announced today that it has hired Kindra Martone as Chief Revenue Officer, Patrick Quirk as Chief Technology Officer, and Ashley Sturm as Vice President of Marketing. These new hires will help to catapult the company and deliver future data center projects after the recent commissioning of its patented water-cooling system in Stockton, CA.

Kindra Martone served in numerous senior executive roles over the span of her 20-year career in high-growth technology companies such as IO Data Centers (sold to Iron Mountain in January 2018 for $1.375B) and Savvis/CenturyLink’s data center services division, comprising over 50 data centers across North America, Europe, and Asia. Kindra was part of the team that sold the division (since renamed Cyxtera Technologies) to BC Partners and Medina Capital in May 2017 for $2.3B. As the Chief Revenue Officer, Martone will lead the business development, sales, and customer service team, driving customer engagement, enhanced performance, and growth. “Nautilus is at the pivotal moment in its development to transform the way the industry cools data centers,” said Martone. “I am honored and excited to accelerate this transformation globally.”
Patrick Quirk has more than 25 years of experience in senior roles across the software and technology industries, including as President of Avocent Corp (a Vertiv subsidiary) and as VP/GM of Converged Systems at Emerson Network Power. He has provided data center management infrastructure for data center IT, power, and thermal management products. As Chief Technology Officer, Quirk will manage technology development, deployment, and innovation strategies that align with our customers’ transition to high-performance computing and commitment to confronting climate change and delivering on sustainability and ESG objectives. “I’m excited to join the Nautilus leadership team and help drive our data center water-cooling technology forward,” said Quirk. “It’s exciting to be part of an entrepreneurial company that embraces innovation and is changing the trajectory for data centers to become a central part of the community and regional revitalization while dramatically improving efficiency and sustainability.”
Ashley Sturm, a marketing executive with more than 15 years of experience and a focus on data center technology, joins the team after leading brand and content for NTT Global Data Centers Americas as well as the marketing of the global solutions business unit at Vertiv. Ashley will drive the brand, marketing, and content strategies to establish Nautilus Data Technologies as the most high-performance and sustainable data center company of choice for customers across the globe. “Nautilus’ story is one of innovation, engineering excellence, and a true commitment to sustainability,” said Sturm. “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the effort on telling the story about how high-performance compute is accessible to everyone globally and sustainably.”
